1. What is your favorite vegetable?
Brussels sprouts (sautéed not boiled.)
2. What is your favorite fruit?
I feel like this question is probably looking for a 'fruit you have from the fruit bowl' answer but I would probably choose lemon for its versatility as an ingredient.
3. What is your favorite cheese?
Probably goat's cheese in a dish where the cheese is meant to be the start of the show. For a cheese to have on its own I would maybe choose a blue cheese like gorgonzola.
4. What is your favorite dessert?
To say I have a sweet tooth would be a huge understatement so this is a really hard one to answer. I think the desserts I enjoy the most are the ones you get at a fairly high-end restaurant where there are lots of different components (a little bit of sauce, a quenelle of sorbet, meringue, chocolate crumb...) In terms of something you'd make in your own kitchen I really like this slightly odd meringue-based dessert from Charleston - https://eu.southernkitchen.com/story/recipes/2021/08/09/huguenot-torte/5537914001/
5. What is your favorite beverage?
Without getting into individual categories of beverage I will say any cocktail that's based around ginger beer such as Dark and Stormy, Moscow Mule, El Diablo etc.
